We are both thrilled and DELIGHTED to tell you that our little baby, Wharf Rd Restaurant & Bar has, in its first year of operation, been
awarded a Fairfax Good Food Guide chef’s hat. The awards are widely regarded, as one of the most prestigious and widely recognised programs and The Good Food Guide is an essential list of must-eat-at destinations across New South Wales. For those of us lucky enough to live here on the NSW south coast, we know what we have and how fortunate we are to access it all the time. It’s a deep honour to win recognition for our incredible producers and our
hard working team here at the restaurant.
We’d like to thank producers such as Fiona and Adam at Buena Vista Farms, Gehardt at Schottlander’s Wagyu and Ian at Illawarra Prime Alpaca for always supporting us and providing us with consistently amazing produce to work with.
Thank you also to our very hard working front of house and kitchen teams – this hasn’t been an easy year, as first years often go, and we’re tremendously thankful for your effort and commitment.
Lastly, THANK YOU to our customers!! Without you, we couldn’t do what we do. Whether you’re from overseas, Sydney or just next door, we welcome you with open arms and look forward to seeing you again soon – there’s much news and many changes afoot, and we look forward to sharing it with you.
